Hi! I'm David. This is my site.

I write code. I've built applications and published papers in computational physics. I also write music.

About me

Hi! My name is David Jahn. I'm a sentient, mostly standards-compliant person who lives in New York.

I've been published in Journal of Physical Chemistry, and also The Journal of Chemical Physics for some computational studies in molecular dynamics (in other words, I programmed computers to simulate molecules bouncing around, then analyzed those simulations statistically). I recently graduated with a bachelors of science in Computational Mathematics and Physics from The City University of New York.

I'm interested in computers, difficult problems, and building things. I also play the piano, which I've done since I was about seven (coincidentally the same time I started to learn BASIC).

Feel free to contact me if you'd like to chat!

I've done research for a few years in the computational condensed matter physics lab at Brooklyn College run by Professor Giovambattista. My focus is the simulation of liquid organic systems.

Here are a few papers that I've published:

Sometimes I write music, or play the piano.
